Children and young people meet each week during the Sunday morning service. The usual practice has been that they start by going into church and may sit with their parents in a family area at the front of the church where there are resources for younger children. They remain in church for the first part of the service which includes a children’s address. They also help with the collection which is part of our church giving. They are involved in some church services such as Harvest and Christmas as well as regularly sharing with the congregation what they have been doing in Junior Church and often take part in part of the monthly communion service.
During Junior Church, there are Bible-based activities for various ages. This is currently organised in three groups one for 2-8 year olds, another for 8 years and above and a creche group for the very young. Parents may stay with their children if desired, and play a role in the day's activities.
New members can be sure of a warm welcome.
